Don't know about previous users comments, must be based on age and experience. Having been to more airports than I care to recall in the usa, Asia, Europe, Southeast Asia, Central and South America I can say that the SA airport is definitely an excellent airport. Wait times are short, airport personnel are friendly, and TSA agents are professional. I have never been more than 30 minutes from parking to arriving at the departure gate. I love this airport, the help in the garage with shuttle and a cart to help you if you can't go d your car. It does need to be updated!
San Antonio Airport was a beautiful experience everyone who worked there was more than generous to help us with our friend who was in a wheelchair lines were simple and peiple where wonderful.
This is a hellhole of an airport. They are more interested in playing politics than taking care of people traveling.
I went to Michigan from Sanantonio Tx and it was great the airlines were on time going to Chicago and flint Michigan and they also were on time from flint Michigan to Chicago on in to Sanantonio tx it was a great time and lot of fun
Kind of small but not crazy expensive. There is a Starbucks, which is good, and if you want to grab a bite, go to Gervin's at Terminal 2, owned by NBA legend the Ice Man himself.
I like the airport, but the long term parking that is supposedly free for veterans will not allow veterans who have actually served in ground combat to receive this benefit. The Army's Combat Infantryman's Badge, Combat Medical Badge, and the Marine Combat Action Ribbon specialty plates are omitted from the list. Those veterans who have qualified for these specialty plates have contributed significantly to our country. Some of the plates listed do not require actual combat service. That's a shame.
Quick and easy thru Tsa and to plane with in 30 min
this Airport is being run by a bunch of incompetent Jack anus's that are more interested in denying Christian vendors the right to do business in their Airport than keeping airline employees that have been in good standing for 30 years working. Colossal turd buckets like Chris Cole (airport security), and Ray Parrish (Airport Safety Systems) represent all that is wrong with this bureaucratic cesspool.
