Repeatedly Disappointed I live and work in Pasadena, but I have dealt with many pro film shops from Pasadena to Santa Monica and everything in between. Many of the people working at Samy's of Pasadena are severely in need of attitude adjustments. I've finally decided that avoiding these attitudes along with inflated pricing is worth a longer drive.
Really bad customer service Samy's camera on Walnut seems to have fairly good prices, but the customer service is terrible. Both times I have called the people on the phone acted like I was such a huge inconvenience for even calling. I wanted to ask about prices on prints, so I told them this. I was transferred to the camera dept. I sat on hold for at least 5 minutes. Then the guy in the camera dept transferred me back to the original woman. Great Product Selection and They Know Their Stuff Over the years, I have purchased several cameras here as well and the folks behind that counter have always been very helpful and are very knowledgeable. I took as much time as I wanted to play with the equipment, switching out lenses, etc. They have a great product selection and know their stuff.
Service with a Smile Alyssa @ Samy's Camera is seriously an great asset to the company. She has AMAZING customer service skills (as you know that's really hard to find now a days) also she has A LOT of patience. She always helps me out & no matter how many questions I ask she always has an answer w/a smile on her face.
The place to go! If you live in the area this is definitely the place to go for anything camera related. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. There is such a large selection of everything. I recommend!!
Great Sales Jason at Samy's Camera was such a big help assisting us from start to finish with our sale. He showed us great selections and even helped us to set up our camera once we purchased it. Thanks again Jason you were amazing.
great staff michelle franco is the best! very helpful and knowledgeable. I successfully exchanged a 52mm filter for a 58mm filter for my new 50mm lens.
