Dr. Thacher did the usual--xrays, cleaning, cavity filling--and also crowns on four of my teeth. I loved the way they gave me estimates right there, and the accuracy of their time estimates. Everyone in the office was upbeat, accessible, fun to talk to, easy to get information from. They explained procedures very well, and were good at talking to my insurance company so we knew going in exactly what to expect. Sam is a great dentist. I initially chose him because of his up to date equipment and location. I have been his patient for two years now. All procedures are done with care and concern for the patient's well being. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
He is definately one of the best dentists I have ever been to. highly knowledgable, easily approachable, and truly genuine as a person. He is so concerned about my comfort during all my procedures and always checks on me to make sure i'm okay. he gives the most painless injections and works really hard to make sure i'm happy with the result of everything we do. his staff is also really nice and helpful. i would recommend him to anyone looking for an honest dentist who uses modern technology and does really great work.
Sam Thatcher is awesome. He's young, fairly fresh out of dental school, and uses very up-to-date technology to make your dentistry experience as fast and pain-free as possible, including CAD imaging for crowns, intelligent charm, and good CDs on the headphones. I recommend him to all my friends, and none has failed to be happy. I first went to him because I could walk there from my apartment at Mission Place; now I will take Muni across the City ... because he is so great.
