My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary there. When making reservations one week in advance she told me that she would make note of it, and make sure the staff knew about it, and would make our evening special in their own way. Nothing was ever mentioned of our milestone , very disappointing but, that’s not why we chose to come here. Great food and friendly staff.
I absolutely love Sams’s. I would be hugely disappointed if they were no longer open. I have been to Kreis’s, Ruth Chris, Citizen Cane’s, and Morton’s etc etc but there is something about Sam’s Steaks, service, quiet quaint atmosphere that keeps me returning here to this little gem off Gravois! I think they have the best steaks around, and not to mention they make the best Martini’s, but then again... that’s my opinion. Check em out folks. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.
