Great atmosphere, manager served us and he was great. The place was packed, but we got in 15 mins after showing up. Good sign when restaurants are busy. Will go back to support this local mexican restaurant. Loved my skinny margarita, no mix, completely homemade/homemixed. Chili rellenos were amazing!! Husband had a variety of tacos, all very good. We started off with the "shrimp cocktail" mexican-style. Red sauce and avocado in the cocktail... very good.
This place seemed ok, a little over priced and semi slow service. It wasn't until later that night did we realize the food didn't agree with our stomachs. If you want to be in the bathroom all night.. and next day Eat at Sammy's! Gross! FYI most of us (8 people) got sick so it wasn't because of something else.
For great and authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go, and we go often. I love their food and drinks and the waiters/waitresses are friendly. The place is hopping, a testament to the fore mentioned. One item they should remove from their menu, however, is the queso fundido; that stuff is the worst I've ever had. I would love it, if it weren't so darn loud. The music's loud, the tv's are going, a full house and everyone is trying to talk over everything. I wouldn't recommend bringing small children.

We have been a long time sammys patron! We love the people, atmosphere, food and especially the drinks! We recommend it highly to all!!
