We absolutely love Sammy’s! The tacos are amazing and there is a huge selection of margaritas. The employees are all very nice and seem to enjoy working there. We go there very regularly and are never disappointed.
I love this place! My personal trainer had recommended it last year! My bf and I have visited the Roselle location once, and the service was excellent, food was awesome! We've been to the Elgin location (closer to our home) 3 times, and have not been disappointed. Margaritas are always delicious! This is definitely my new favorite Mexican restaurant of Illinois! First time at Sammy's and our last. I ordered my meal with no beans. I cut into my chimichanga and its full of beans. Also, I thought chimichanga's were fried. Mine might have seen a fryer but it wasn't crispy and it was cold, the cheese inside wasn't even melted. I mentioned it to the waitress I ordered no beans, she said yes, I stated but it has bean. She just walked away and never offered to remake. Very disappointed as several people recommended this place.
Delivery took almost an hour and a half on a Thursday night, food was cold and wrong. This is the third time in a row I've had food delivered from here and it has been wrong. Definitely not ordering from here again.
Normally i LOVE their food. We order from Sammy's about once a week via UberEats. The last 3-4 orders have been wrong. Tonight I ended up making another order from a different restaurant while my family ate the order from Sammy's - spending over $50 you expect your food to come as ordered. My whole family loves this place, I've had enough.
Best tacos. Fresh ingredients. Margaritas on fleek. Must try. Our wait was only 15 min on a Friday because this place is so packed. We enjoyed it!!!
