One focal point for my long weekend girls trip in NYC was Salvation Taco. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a combative hostess and that was followed up by unattentive servers that forgot our orders. We caught them talking about us with another server when we mentioned our forgotten food order. We kept our kindness and continued to say please and thank you, but this was never met with any better service. Awesome food. Great service. Bad mojito.
I wish I could give this place zero stars, but I suppose they might deserve one star only because their Salvation margaritas are great. But the staff were the most rude people I've ever encountered. From the hostess ripping a menu out of my friend's hands to getting a snobby attitude with us when requesting to be seated, and completely ignoring our table the entire time, taking the longest time to receive our drinks when there were 20 people max in the entire place, "forgetting" to even place our food order...the service was... read more
Great food. Great drinks. Bar manager Henry is such a good guy. Try his NY Whiskey Sours for something amazing.
Ambiance was great, especially at the rooftop bar. Food was horrible. Quesadilla was inedible and chicken tinga tacos were way too salty.
Their margaritas and al pastor tacos are the best!
