I've been coming here for at least 10 years (year round) and was ready to stop. The last several visits the food was mediocre and cold and the service was awful - single tables deserve the same level of service as groups, but that consistently wasn't happening here. I decided to give it one last try on my way out of town tonight and was pleasantly surprised - food was the best it's been in many years (with a substitute chef I understand). And my server, Katie, was awesome. I'm hoping that this trend continues.
Always a favorite in Newport. Can't go wrong! Good food at good prices.
