I've been to Salvador Molly's more than a handful of times. Each time was a great experience. Brought a picky eater with me, we convinced her to get the mac n cheese. Which she didn't like and the waiter could tell she wasn't enjoying it. So he quickly offered to get her meal exchanged for something else. He suggested tamales and within 3 minutes she had her meal replaced!
I have enjoyed many delicious options at the restaurant, in addition to the amazing artichoke and cojita cheese tamales at the Hillsdale Farmers Market. Also, I find the staff to be friendly and efficient. Great local place with an international flavor!
Just had supper at SM's after not having been there for perhaps 18 months/ 2 years. Use to think it was okay to pop for a snack/meal and a drink until tonight. Food was incredibly salty, poorly presented (Wedges were like having a bowl of mush on top of some amazingly small wedge potatoes), and poor value (guacamole for two was barely enough for one. It use to be a terrific dish. Not any more!). Overall, the quality of the food was below par. We won't be bothering to go back.
They have a big selection. Pretty flavorful. I would recommend if you have no clue what you want.
