The “signature scent” as one steps into the lobby made me gag and hold my nose. The bar of the Drake is so dark I couldn’t even see the bartender. But the 2nd floor Terraza cafe & bar has a lovely outdoor area, friendly waitstaff, and good food.
Stayed here for the weekend over Easter. It’s a nice hotel in a great area that could use some improvement in the rooms. I know that they are renovating rooms so I hope they all are soon. The room we were in was an older room. The fixtures were worn, there weren’t really any outlets in the room, there wasn’t a mini fridge, and the bathroom door didn’t close properly.
