My daughter recommended this place, and I was pleasantly surprised at the diversity of the menu. We tryed many of the food and drinks, and had a fantastic waiter guiding us through it! Next time I'm in from Guadalajara, we will finish off that menu! Something for most everyone!
With all the new restaurants popping up, Salty Sow is still my favourite happy hour spot in Austin after many years. The rosemary fried chicken and biscuit with fresh honey butter is to die for. The blanche margarita is my fave signature sip as well, especially for these hot Texas days. I also recommend literally everything else on the HH menu. :)
Amazing food at a reasonable cost. Happy hour daily from 4:30-6:30. Get there early if you don't have a reservation. One of Austins best places.

Loved the ambience, all the different seating areas are great! In and out! Had a small plate salmon , very tasty but very salty!! I had limited options being Gluten intolerant! Not a fan of my Pigroni, gin drink, ratio was off! I'll try it again though! Service is superb!

Waiter was friendly and helpful with menu. I chose the skate and was disappointed, not in the fish itself, but in the preparation. Seasoning was not consistent. One bite would be salty and the next one wouldn't. Just didn't know when I was going to get a mouthful of salt. Definitely was not worth $24 for that dish. Mashed potatoes quite honestly tasted like instant. Green beans were fresh and prepared well.
My absolute favorite place for happy hour!!!! Great drinks even better food. Brussel sprouts are my number one choice. Basically everything off the happy hour menu is worth having... We always order one of everything. We ended up having to basically get rolled out of there. �

My wife and I went there for happy hour. One of the best dinning experiences we have had in a long time. The ham ribs were to die for. The tacos were excellent. Drinks were good and went well with the food. We will definitely go again.
