Was disappointed when we realized it was a resort restaurant but actually ended up very pleasantly surprised! The build your own guac was fun for our table to share. I ordered a turkey wrap and again, not expecting much, I just loved it! Skipped having a cocktail this time solely due to the $12 price tag--just wasn't feeling paying more for a drink than my entree. Service was friendly.

The view was hands down the best part of our experience at Saltrock. It was a quiet venue and was not very busy which was nice for us after a long day of hiking, traffic, and crowds on the main highway in Sedona. We had the La Verda margaritas, interesting but good. The food menu seemed limited and the service was slow. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and my friend had the turkey wrap. Neither were stand out items but were still okay. All of our dishes were excellant! The soup of the day was a butternut squash soup that was one of the best I have had. The guacamole kit is not quite as it is described in the menu. It comes already prepared they just give you some add ins on the side. Mr. Alejandro adds a special touch to the while experience.

This place was amazing! The spicy cream of corn soup (not sure what they called it) was one of the best soups I have ever had. The soft shelled crab appetizer was amazing! Tender, crunchy and so flavorful. The NY striploin was cooked to perfection and the salmon melted in your mouth. We weren't drinking but had some n/a cocktails that were on the menu and they were both delicious. Fantastic restaurant in an amazing resort.

They didn't have the quail I ordered and by the time the waiter returned to get my new order, they had served all of my companions' dinners. I opted for a salad which was supposed to have duck in it, but I didn't find much. The margaritas were fantastic. Waiter and chef gave us free guacamole for the confusion.
