Service here is definitely the best of any restaurant in Mesquite. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is my wife likes her steak well done (her only flaw). The cooks must not like cooking steaks well done (not that I blame them), but when the steak comes out red in the center and bleeding red on the plate she has to send it back. I think this pisses off the cooks and the steak comes back over well done and burnt black on the outside. This is the third or fourth time this has happened at this location.
The food was good, however, when the service is that bad, the whole experience goes south! Mesquite location!
Unfortunately on this visit I was very disappointed,they couldn't seem to get my steak right,I frequent this particular Saltgrass/mesquite and they usually do an outstanding job,I guess the cook was having a bad day
Great atmosphere with no waiting on a sunday afternoon. This is my favorite spot. You can't go wrong with the menu, everything is delicious. The crab cakes are the best!!!
Great night out with the girls. The service was great,food was magnifico, house salad & honey mustard was awesome. We will be back. 👍
The service was awesome, and the cheesecake was even better. Definitely will be going here again very soon.
This was the first time we visited, and it will be the last. First impressions were the worst. We were told a half-hour wait, which is fine, but when I saw people being seated who came after us, checked at the host desk and found our name had been crossed off some time before, even though I still had the pager they gave us. Okay food, a scared-to-death waitress and free desert do not make up for it. Good thing I didn't hold it against the waitress' tip.
My wife's steak was not cook evenly and our waiter was forgetful about filling our water and forgot the 2nd bread we asked for just as we got our meal and then he showed up with it toward the end of our meal.
It was Great. Had a good time the Steak was wow!!!
