Was celebrating my birthday with my son. Food was amazing and our waiter Carlos was pretty good until I got the bill and was charged $5 more for my dinner than menu price and was charged $5 more for son's meal than menu price. Wasn't sweating not getting free birthday cheesecake... Maybe they don't do that anymore and its is sooooo worth the price. Don't appreciate being overcharged. Didn't leave tip because could no longer afford to... That extra $10-18 would have been given to the waiter hadn't that taken place
The people were very nice the service was excellent the steak was excellent
Saltgrass virgin, first time at the restaurant. A good mix between El Paso's Great Americans and Cattle Barrons of New Mexico.
I go usually once a week for lunch but this time my steak was dry so I will not be getting a steak for awhile the next few visits but the Range Rattlers & Mango sweet tea will always keep me coming back for more.

Me & My wife stopped at this restaurant and it is by far the worst place I've ever been too. I had never ate at a Salt Grass Steakhouse and let my wife talk me into it. The steak was like rubber, I waited 15 mins on my drink from the bar which had barely any achohol and was $10 worth of nothing! Before I got my drink, I went to the bar to get a beer. Service was great, food was great, our waiter know the menu, it was a great overall experience.
The food was great and the wait staff was friendly and took care of us. We will definitely go back.
