I called 5 eye care places on a Friday afternoon and Salt River was the only place that fit me in because they understood my symptoms. Felix made me feel extremely comfortable and well-taken care of on the phone and when I arrived. The lady who prepped me for the doctor was also very kind and made me feel welcomed. Very friendly, nice and clean.
We experienced professionalism and courtesy from the moment we walked in. They go way beyond all other optometrist offices I've been to and that's a lot. Can't recommend these folks enough.
PSA - GET YOUR EYES CHECKED REGULARLY. I have been going to Dr. McMullen since 2016 when he was convinced I had a retina tear based on the retina image we took. One specialist said it was just a freckle, but Dr. McMullen refused to believe it. I had a second consultation at another specialty office to discover not one, but TWO Retina tears. I am so thankful for Dr. McMullen for continuing to pursue what he felt was a tear and getting me a second consultation. One tear was fixed today and another in a month! Awesome place amazing staff!! I Would recommend everyone to go to Salt River Eye Care if they want a good experience. Everyone was super nice, laid back and very helpful. The Doctor spent the time and explained everything on a simplistic level.

Dr. McMullen is the most knowledgeable, professional, personable, and quite frankly likable doctor I’ve ever seen, in any field of medicine. His staff is stellar and his office is comfortable. Highly recommend.
From the moment you walk in every single person is friendly, professional and helpful. I would totally recommend if you need a new Eye Doctor. Dr McMullen and all the staff are the best.
