This hospital is absolutely amazing. We had to drive from Idaho Falls to have my husband seen by his surgeon (bowel obstruction) at 1 am. I was so incredibly tired after driving him here. The staff offered me a bed in the er to catch some 😴. They gave me a heated blanket and a pillow. The staff was fantastic and so caring.
I've had several surgeries here that require physical therapy, I really like the small physical therapy department, but the pool has been closed for so long. I don't understand why it's so hard to have it up and running. I enjoy pool therapy. I had a knee replacement in March of 2024 and was hoping for the pool. And I've had my other knee replacement January 2025 and still no pool. I may have to look elsewhere. Or just go to therapy and find a pool on my own. Ted is great though
Went to ER with fever and horrible lower back pain, thinking possibly a kidney stone. I was taken back very quickly, discussed symptoms with nurse and then with doctor. Started IV right away, drew blood and provided some pain relief while waiting for CT scan. Both Dr. Hawkes and RN, Kayla were amazing, checking back often on my pain level. Terrible experience. My boyfriend had a surgery here 9 months ago and he is STILL getting bills that they “forgot” to send. Worst hospital experience EVER. Would not recommend my worst enemy to go here. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL. Go to IHC. It’s SO much better. Or even the U. Any hospital BUT this hospital is good. They also forgot to apply his INSURANCE. They only have incompetent employees and no customer advocacy so if you think you’re being over charged, well. Too bad you are and there’s nothing you can do about it! LOL.
