Refurbishing bikes for a variety of empowering purposes: getting kids on bikes for the first time and teaching them the mechanical skills to maintain their rides through our free Earn-A-Bike program; giving bikes to the needy through our Goodwill program; teaching those interested in learning more about bike repair; and outfitting the community with inexpensive professionally-tuned bikes and parts to promote cycling in Salt Lake City.

This is a terrible place. My mom is 63 and has astioprirosis and has never rode a bike. We received vouchers from 4th street clinic for bikes. They showed us there "good will" bikes and she chose the smallest one, so she'd have less chance of falling. Mike said it was for someone 5'1 and she's 5'3..Adjustable seats? Then gave us both 5 dollar bikes. Hers is way to tall and she already fell down on it. They also referred to us as homeless repeatedly and would not sale us locks. It's always a pleasure to volunteer, work on my bike, and attend class here. Knowledgeable and helpful people abound! Plus the work-trade opportunity is fantastic. I look forward to becoming one of you! ;p
My son went in, hoping for a new front rim. We priced them online $60-80. We found a replacement rim, replacement handlebars, and a better brake system, plus help from volunteers for $35. Very helpful and friendly!! Thanks!!
