The BEST Pizza – My wife and I love pizza. We get a pizza or two from Sal's in Murfreesboro every week. We used to drive to Franklin to eat at Joey's, which is really, really good, but Sal's is even better!

True New Yorker – Being originally from New York, I've noticed that it was very hard to find great pizza in this town. That was until a few years ago I went to Sal's Pizza. I go at least 2-3 times a week for lunch and every time it is great. Never have I had a bad meal at this authentic New York style pizza shop. Even when I bring friends, co-workers, or business clients along for lunch they agree that it is some of the best pizza they've ever had. I have tried Joe's pizza – I have been a customer of Sal's pizza Murfreesboro for last six months. Before they opened this location i used to go joe's pizza. But Sal's pizza is better than any other pizza places that i have tried: Angelo's, Joye's house pizza, pizza perfect. But you have to take into account one thing... They are always busy. I cant belive this place is still open – Ok so before ill start this let me first say being from Philly I know what a good Italian restaurant slash pizzeria should be. ok so i went there 2 months ago to order a pizza. the guy at the counter was answering phones. as he is talking to the customer on the phone he tells me to wait.. ok no problem. when he finally get around to taking my order. the phone rings he tells me to hold one second. ok no problem.... answers the phone and stays on there taking a huge order. im just sadin... read more

Good food, decent prices – We ordered two pizzas from here and some breadsticks. We got a hand tossed crust and a sicilian crust. The hand tossed was pretty good; it was regular thickness and tasted great. The Sicilian was too thick...almost like pan pizza from Pizza Hut. It made the pizza a little dry, but otherwise the pizza was great. The toppings were fresh. The breadsticks were good, and the sauce that Sal's makes is one of the better pizza sauces around. Can not get better pizza than Sal's. – Hey, i love Sal's pizza! I travel a lot because of my work. But i live in nashville. Therefore, last week i had to go to Murfreesboro, Tn. To my astonishment Sal's pizza had another location in that city too. I Had to stop by at that location and as always they were the best. Guys, i do not know what you guys put on your pizza, just keep doing whatever you were doing. Great people.! You walk in the restaurant you always see employees running around. Because they are always BUSY!!

Don't understand the hype – Ever since I moved to the area two years, everyone has been telling me how great Sal's pizza is. We got hooked on Jet's pizza, the staff is always pleasant and they always give us a coupon! But, I always had Sal's in the back of my mind, I always wanted to try it and support a non-chain business. So, we ordered a pizza along with some stuffed mushrooms. I LOVE SALS!! – great pizza and friendly staff, great in-house specials..if you want delivery , call a chain..the folks at Sals are too busy maintaining a wonderful restaurant and making carry-out specials affordable for their customers. The pizza is always great!

Poor Customer Service – I use to really like Sals until I went on a weekend for the buffet. Service was lax, the pizza was cold. When I asked politely when another pie was coming out (since I'd had two ice cold slices and the pizzas were pretty much gone) the man just looked at me like I was crazy and said, "We have fresh pie here." I just walked away and continued to wait. I waited and waited and waited. A fresh pie finally came out. Then after being there 45 min.
