Love it! Really spacious bar/sitting area. Happy hour has endless, thick-cut bacon! Fun events (trivia) and a stage for bands. Friendly service. Great menu and food. Full selection bar. TVs with sports and music videos. All-in-all really love this place. Great fish fry too. Will definitely be returning!!
The only thing that is keeping this rating from being a 5, is that we weren't able to order appetizers during the brunch menu. We went there hoping to try the bacon mozzarella sticks, but couldn't. Other than that, the place is amazing.

Sorry we didn't have our normal menu running when you visited. We should have been able to make those for you though. I wish someone had asked management. Our Brunch is only from 11am-2pm on Sundays, too bad that was the time frame you stopped out. Hopefully we will get another chance at another time! :)
Drove up from GB for my birthday for bacon mozzarella sticks, and Bloody Marys. Bloody Marys were good. They didn't have bacon mozzarella sticks due to some kind of brunch menu. There was very little bacon options on the menu that was given. Was unimpressed, and was a major upset-As we were expecting a large selection of bacon.

We're sorry. We do have bacon in our brunch menu, not to your desired appetite, we understand. We have baskets avaialble of just bacon for $5. any time. Not sure why your server wouldn't have offered that as an option. We only do Brunch from 11am-2pm on Sunday. We are sorry that was the time you happened to try us and it wasn't what you were expecting. We do have a free app you can download if you ever want to come back, and it has all our events, menu items, specials, and discounts, all in one place. We hope that helps!

For such a common item, Saloon on Calhoun actually DOES bacon the best. Bu far the best BLT! Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable about their drink/beer selections. So is the wait staff. The Live music sound system and lighting are top-notch. My only caveat on the music there is that the tables in the main eating/viewing area are permanently affixes to the floor, so, if you see a band that draws, unless you have a table, you are pretty much relegated to standing against an outside wall. Thank you Tony! We have actually been working on table arrangements for large-crowd-drawing bands to try and open up more space. It's not ideal for sitting or dining, but it's better than having everyone stuck against the wall to see the bands. But it's a good problem to have as you stated.

First Summer Shandy was charged $5.50. Second $4.50 Nachos ended up at $19. Added chicken and guacamole . Barely any chicken. Quac came in the 1/2 Shell of the avacado The nachos were mostly black olives and pico My absolute tall was $8. Second was $7 This was at 4 on a Friday afternoon. Maybe the bartenders should spend less time socializing with each other and payed attention to their customers they would get better tips. Will not be back

We are saddened by your disappointment. There are some reasons... Your first drinks were probably before 4pm. From 4-7pm we have Happy Hour, and all drinks are $1 off.
