You are referring to Naughty Chair reunion concert where the band played until 1am. Yes they collected at the door until 11:30. And with a past-capacity crowd, we did the best we could to provide as fast of service as possible. Yes, when the bar is stacked up 2-3 people deep and everyone wants to be “next”, there is only so much we can do. We train our bar staff and do random pour tests to promote consistency. I always have a good time at the Saloon on Calhoun. Delicious food. If you love bacon, you'll love this menu. You can even buy a basket of bacon. On occasion, when it's very busy, the staff has gone out of their way to help us have a good time. Great venue for live music, with a great light show, and sound system. I've seen quite a few shows there since the remodel, and really appreciate the work that went into making this a place to feature live music.

This place does not know how to handle a crowd. They had reserved tables set up in the middle of standing room only, made no sense. The drinks were watered down and my boneless chicken wings with house sauce tasted like cumin balls, disgusting! Mind you it took an hour to get me and my wife's meal. My bill came out to $40.00 with tip for one beer one soda, sandwich and two appetizers. For all I know they charged me for a third appetizer for returning it. I made the mistake of not checking. I wonder how you would’ve handled the situation. First, this band hasn’t played in over 4 years publicly. When we booked them, they “hoped” maybe 200 people would show up. 600 did. How should we have known that? We stopped taking reservations after we maxed out how many we could take, again, anticipating about 200 not 600. Absolutely the worst ever. The hostess was a ditz ,who should never been allowed to wear the holey ass jeans she had on, tells us the wait is long and doesn't even take are name, says order from the bar (Gabbie ), some new girl , only 2nd day finds us a table, our waiters name was Kenny was the best, but the kitchen, don't know what the hell was going on, our food took forever, appetizers were expensive and they screwed up our pizza order, will never ever come back again, complete joke, no idea how you are still open, shut d... read more
Great venue, great food, we were the featured band for the Gabriel Sanchez open mic and everybody made us feel welcomed! Awesome stage with great sound and lights! A must go to venue for watching live music!
