LOVE IT! – Just recently (2 haircuts and colors ago) started going to Courtney (although I've known her forever and her reputation proceeded her). LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair! Courtney considers all things - lifestyle, client wishes, hair type, etc. - and makes it work. She cuts both of my daughters' hair, too. She is awesome, and Sonya gives the BEST washes. Parking and location are convenient, appointments are readily available, the salon is clean and up to date, staff is nice - I've recommended it to several friends.
Where all the cool kids get their hair cut – I have been going to Salon YaYa for several years now, and I have never been disappointed with the results. The atmosphere is relaxed, not snobby or pretentious like some salons can be, the location and parking are convenient, and everyone on the staff is dedicated to client satisfaction. I would (and have!) recommend Salon YaYa to anyone looking for a new stylist, an updated look, or just a trim.
BEST HAIR SALON PERIOD!! – This is easily the best place I have ever gotten my hair cut. All of he people are super nice and are great at what they do. In my opinion Courtney is the best hair stylist period. There is nobody I would rather have cut my hair. If I had the choice between Courtney and Paul Mitchell I would choose Courtney. If you need a hair cut I highly highly suggest Salon YaYa. I drive from Murfreesboro to Nashville just for a hair cut. It's that good!!
Great hair, great ladies, great service! – After moving to Nashville, I found too many salons where the color or style I requested was either ignored or brushed aside to fit the comfort (re: skill) zone of the stylist at hand - resulting in a highly unsatisfactory and disappointingly dull hair experience. Outstanding!!! – First of all, I'm not a salon type of guy. But, my wife wanted me to start getting better haircuts than you receive at SuperCuts, etc. My wife has been getting her hair cut by Stacey for years and loves her. I have been getting my hair cut by Courtney for a couple of months and she is great!! FYI, Courtney was voted by the Nashville Scene as THE person to go to for a hip haircut. Everything about this place is great and my hair has never looked better!
Very Unhappy!!! – Tried Salon Ya Ya out and ended up with total hair disaster! Went in for a simple highlights touch up and received a complete hair color change. Called up to 5 times in the first 24 hrs to try and fix the situation with no success. The person that took complete liberty with my hair was "unable" to come to the phone and I was told by the person who answered "good luck with my hair". Perfection! – This salon is spectacular! Unlike other salons I've visited, Salon Ya-Ya is so easy to get to and makes appointments a breeze. The staff is delightful and knows exactly what they are doing--you will feel comfortable and refreshed after even a short visit. My stylist, Stacey, is an absolute gem--I have been with her for 6 years and I highly recommend her. Ya-Ya has an absolutely faultless atmosphere, not too crazy not too stagnate--just perfect!
