Wonderful Place – I have to admit that I made an appointment at Salon Ya Ya thinking I was going to a completely different salon. This was the best "mistake" I have ever made. After my stylist of 10+ years moved away, I spent two years searching for someone who could deal with my cowlicks and generally hard to deal with hair. I was so pleased with what I came away with. Great non intimidating salon – My stylist was Reyna. She was courteous and knowledgeable. I let loose my bun to reveal a mop of hair that had not been cut or attended to in 9 months (due to new baby!) She was not judgemental or condescending as other stylists at other salons sometimes are. She suggested a deep conditioning treatment for my hair but she did so in a way that was not pushy or aggressive. She listened to what I wanted in terms of a haircut. Courtney turned my hair “don’t” into a “do.” My previous salon had dyed my highlighted hair brown at my request – only it turned out to be a strange red color. They tried to fix it once, but after having lived with it for 2 months already; I wasn’t in the mood to let them try a third time. A friend referred me to Courtney at Salon Ya Ya. Terrific-Fun-Professional! – Marilyn is a great stylist & colorist. Her knowledge of product & hair care is admirable. The salon itself is comfortable & fun & the staff is so pleasant. I highly recommend Salon Ya-Ya & I am a picky person!
Go see Jamie – I was very nervous going to Salon Ya-Ya for the first time, because I usually go to a walk-in place and dye my hair from home. They are very welcoming and have a relaxed atmosphere. Jamie has cut and colored my hair twice now, and I have loved it both times. Even though I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, she listened and made it look great. I trust her in picking out the rights colors, and I recommend everyone go check her out!

Salon Ya Ya is the best salon in Nashville! – If you want a great haircut, you must make an appointment with Jamie or Marilyn at Salon Ya Ya! Jamie is a really cool stylist. Her haircuts are consistently awesome (because she's awesome)! Marilyn is a wonderful stylist, and an expert on beautiful hair color!
Jamie is a very talented stylist. – I have very thick hair and it is difficult to cut. Jamie cut my hair last week for the second time and she did a wonderful job both times. She is a natural born stylist and has obviously has worked very hard to learn the best techniqes of hair styling. She is confident, works to please her client and has a great personality. What a WONDERFUL PLACE! – Marilyn, David, Courtney, Jamie, Keri Lynn,Kaylan, Reyna, and Sarah are all great. I have been to all of them at some point and all have so much knowledge. What I really really do love is that they listen to what I want and then we talk about it and make a plan and then I am absolutely beautiful. LOVE this salon!! – I had a friend in from NYC for the 4th, and we both were dying to get a trim (and root touch-up for her). I'm new to town, so we saw the great reviews on citysearch and decided to call for a walk-in. Reyna was available and agreed to take care of both of us that morning!
