Great Service :) – I went to Salon NV to get my hair lightened.. it was dark brown and I wanted to head back blonde. Unfortunately this takes about 3-4 visits in order to do this correctly and not fry my hair off! My hair dresser, Emma, was very nice and was able to explain this to me. She took my hair from a dark dark brown to a lighter brown with blonde highlights. I love it! They were also very hospitable in asking if i wanted drinks while getting my hair finished! I could not be happier! Thanks Emma :)
Haircuts from HELL! – Salon NV stands for HAIRCUTS FROM HELL!!! I don't even want to give this place one star. Is there a barf mark?

Are you Kidding? – I hate this place. I can NOT believe it has 5 stars. Do I just have high standards??? Salon NV, I am writing this review to help you... please please please if your stylist does not know what he is doing, instead of trying to look like what he is doing, encourage him to recommend another stylist OR let the person know that this is not their area of specialty. and don't Bother me with stupid phone calls... All stylists have to start out. That is how they build a clientelle, from new clients who call in and want a service done that same day and are not willing to wait for four weeks for a 'seasoned' hair stylist. All staff at Salon NV work together to teach and grow our craft. It is part of the new client's responsibility to do their own research by having one or more free consultations and ask around town to find a good fit. Not impressed, through a friend... – ok, so I was going to go to this salon, and my best friend went there and after seeing her hair and hearing about her experience I will never go there... she is too much of a lady to post on here and say ANything bad about anyone and she always over tips people no matter how horrible of a job they do on her hair... so I thought I should post this to let you guys know of her experience, my friend is a lovely girl, and she deserves the best.. and salon NV certainly did not do her justice. s... read more

Unforntunately there are miscommunicatons that occur from booking appointments to what client expects the outcome to be. I wish this person would have called and talked to someone if she was so unhappy. We could have done several things for her that would have changed her outcome. worst salon!! very disappointed – I am not sure why everyone is going crazy for this salon. I read these reviews and was excited to go in and get my hair done, I had some extra cash to spend on myself and was looking forward to it. called in made an appointment, The guy who did my hair was a very nice person I am sure.. but my hair looks horrible.. the cut .. the highlights, I dont think he knew how to do highlights, they are uneven... they dont blend well and they are choppy... he had to do them 3 times.. just to make them ... read more

Best Salon in SLC – Love this Salon. Went through a few Salons trying to find the right one, and this is it. Shane is the absolute best. Really wonderful. So talented. I wanted subtle lowlights that looked natural, and that's exactly what I got. The cut was perfect. He's the only one I'd go to now. Great location, right down town. Free parking right at the Salon, no no trying to find a parking spot, or having to pay. Also wonderful products that I love. Not cheap, but you really do get what you pay for. I love this place! – Tarry is the absolutely best nail tech on the planet. She's been doing my nails for years. She's very professional, but also a good friend who truly cares about her clients. I always look forward to my appointments. Her pedicures are marvelous. If she ever leaves the area or retires, I will be devastated! No one else can possibly measure up to her wonderful skills. My nails are perfect everytime – The best nails in town !! I have had my nails done by Tarry for over 15 years and would be lost without her. I have had my nails done elsewhere, for various reasons, and find, in comparison, that Tarry's abilities out shine anyone else I have ever been too. They NEVER lift and I can go up to 3 weeks between fills and they look great. best staff in utah!! – This spa has the BEST staff in utah!! everyone is the best at what they do!! I have lived in other states and thank goodness I was able to move back to Salt Lake so I could come HOME to SalonNV and their amazing team!! No where compares to their warm family caring environment! I love this place!
