The owner is a horrible person. – I have gone there for years and watched how horrible the owner is to his clients and staff. He is very condescending and rude. He talks very badly of women and the rest of the time he talks about how much better he is than his staff!?! If you read all reviews carefully youll notice all the "bad" reviews are concerning the owner. The good reviews about him are as if he wrote them himself. stylist I was so glad when I finally found Ashley at Salon Jon Clay! It wasn't until a few months ago when they called to confirm my appointment that I was told she no longer worked there. I asked them if they knew where she went and they simply would not tell me, just that they could rescheduale me with another stylist. Since that wasn't going to happen I went on a mission. After a lot or searching I finally found her at Atomic 2 Salon. I decided to post this to save everyone else the headache of looking for her.
Jessie is wonderful!!! – I visited Salon Jon Clay for the first time and found the most wonderful hair stylist, Jessie Meacham!!! She knew just what I needed. She used the INOA color on me which made my hair feel wonderful just like she said it would, then put highlights, and a good cut that was perfect. Horrible customer service and horrible cuts – My regular stylist was out on sick leave so I thought I would try Salon Jon Clay. It seemed like a reputable place. My hair is cut in a graduated bob and that is what I asked for. Just follow what had already been done.....simple enough. What I got was a chopped up mess. Try Ashley at Salon Jon Clay! Excellent Salon!: I had 5 bad hair cuts before meeting Ashley! She's a wonderful stylist and I highly recommend anyone who needs color correction, or a good hair cut to go to her!
I like Kim at salon jon clay! Kim has been doing my cuts and coloring for 8 years. She's a wonderful and talented person and salon is charming and cozy. She always on time and takes her time with me. The hours are very accommodating and the price is right. I also love the Loreal Sulfate Free products for colored hair and a new Inoa color, I get compliments on my hair almost daily and that's surely thanks to Kim and the products because I'm certainly no expert at doing hair.
Wow! I am a first time client to Salon Jon Clay and was completely wowed by the service I received. Not only were the Receptionists very welcoming and helpful but my stylist really knew how to cut my difficult hair. It was also great to find out that since it was my first time i got a special discounted price. I will definately be coming back!??
Stylist Jon is the best! – I have been getting my hair styled at Salon Jon Clay by Jon for at least the last 10 years. I have recommended Jon to several friends who love the job he does as well. He is so professional and has been cutting hair for 25+ years and is very very good!
Overall good experience – I tried Salon Jon Clay for the first time the other day. I had read overall good reviews, but you never know. I got a shampoo cut and blowdry. I really like my cut and my stylist took his time and I had his full attention. He described why he was doing what he was doing and what products he was using (without pushing me to buy them). I was a little disapointed in the infamous shampoo with head massage, but it definitely went on longer than your normal shampoo at a salon, so I can't complain too much... read more
