I asked for 3 inches off today. My stylist took 30 minutes and chopped off 6-7 inches of my hair. No layers or anything. Just straight across, 6-7 inches off. I’m literally shocked speechless right now. My wedding’s in a few months so I can only hope it grows back enough to look the way I want it to
Note that hairstylists individually rent salon space here, so I recommend choosing a stylist you trust over walking in. I did a walk in one process color to dye my hair back to dark brown and I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but my stylist was just so rough with my hair to the point that my scalp hurt. He seemed nice but didn’t really consult with me before going to mix color, and the overall process seemed pretty amateur.
