Feel like a million bucks! – I am always looking for the "Spa Experience" that will make me want to return. I finally found it. Yeah. First, I tried the basics just to get a feel of the place and got a brow wax and a gloss for my hair. It only made me want more. THE BEST HAIR SALON IN CHICAGO!!! – I have been to nearly every salon in Chicago and always return to Salon Blue. No one cares for my curly, red locks like Mary Kay. I am never nervous when I'm sitting in her chair. She always makes me look beautiful!!! I love Salon Blue, the staff and every service I've ever had there...honest.

stylist with an agenda – I saw Brenda at Salon Blue a few times. First time, she criticized what the previous stylist had done (I had recently moved to Chi and hadn't been to a salon in 3 months - I was overdue, but I had loved the cut/color when it was done). She suggested a shorter cut, more traditional hilights...I said I'd prefer longer hair and funkier color. Over the next few appointments, my hair got shorter and more soccer momish. Get a cute new haircut – This Lakeview salon is the best. The stylists are friendly and they know what they're doing. The spa upstairs is nice, but you can hear the muffled rumble of the El train behind the building. It's loud enough to be distracting if you're not fully relaxed, but the massage therapist is very good.

A+ Experience at Salon Blue – I'm new to Chicago, and read reviews before booking a haircut with Katrina. I walked with my "Fun New Hair" folder full of cute haircut photos, showed her what I liked, and then said, "I'm in the mood for total renovation. Do whatever you think is best." She cut my hair dry (which I liked, as it's wavy and sometimes stylists are surprised by how short it dries), recommended new color (I have a round face, and wanted to draw attention away from it), which we did, then I got makeup from amazing Kr... read more

OK cut, excellent facial – The receptionists gave me little instructions when I walked in the door, so I felt clueless. Brenda gave me an OK cut. I later returned and she was willing to re-do it. It is still OK, nothing special. I felt that she did try to do everything possible to please me, but they don't specialize in cuts here. She did recommend some GREAT hair products though. Sales – I thought Jana did a great job my hair looks great she took the time to really find out what I wanted. I have gotten several compliments on my new look.
