Dear Stacy Moffatt, Salon Basix closed permanently on 10/31/2012. Your review should be directed at the business next door, Serene Day Spa and Nails/Owner Kay, who took the unit over months after we closed for business. They may have kept our sign on the building, thus the confusion on your part. Sorry for your loss, but Salon Basix was not the business to blame. Please update your review/delete it.
My boyfriend surprised me with a gift card here. I already have an amazing hair girl so when I went to return it, (first they were cool, but said I needed my bf's card to refund the credit), now they told me refunds were against store policy. There are no signs anywhere, and there is no refund policy on the card. According to California Civil Code 1749.5.
