Dependably greast – I've been going to Nancy for at least 20 years and I never have to wonder how my hair is going to look - even though it's gotten thinner and grayer. She takes care of the gray and gives me a perfect cut suitable for my age and features yet still stylish and up-to-date. I've seen her work on others and am always impressed. I'll keep going to her as long as she'll let me!
It gets worse every time... – I was referred to a specific stylist at Salon 162, and my first experience was wonderful. They gave me tea while my hair was being conditioned, they always have beautiful art and very good magazines, and above all my stylist knew how to deal with my hair (it's quite unruly and awkward). I've been going to Sarah at Salon 162 for quite a long while for my hair styling needs and there is no one better at what she does in the entire Treasure Valley. Her attention to detail and willingness to go that extra mile puts her light years ahead of the competition. Best hair cut in Boise! – I get compliments, almost daily, on my hair. I moved here 14 years ago and Nancy was recommended to me. I've never gone anywhere else. She's that good! She has kept me current on styles and color trends. I always enjoy going to Salon 162. Great service, comfortable, great stylists that are a lot of fun!

Love it!!!!! – I found this salon due to advertisment that allowed walk-ins and I will never go to another salon as long as I live in Boise. The stylists are fantastic. They are so talented and teach you as they work. There is always great conversations, artwork, and they are always smiling. Its so nice to go somewhere where the girls actually show how happy they are to do your hair!!! Its hard to leave after im done, i could sit and talk with them all day.
Talented Hair Artist – Courtney is a very talented and unique stylist. She pays close attention to details and is a perfectionist. She provides a very fun and relaxing atmosphere. I haven't let anyone else touch my hair since Courtney became my stylist. If you want to look hip or classy, Courtney is the stylist for the you. She is located in the BODO district of downtown. So make an appointment asap, her schedule is very busy.
Great cuts & styles – I always feel welcome when i walk through the doors at salon 162, each and every employee is ready with a warm smile and a quick greeting making it a great deal more comfortable. Along with the friendly apparatus the job always gets done professionally. Each visit Courtney is able to tame my uni-brow into much cleaner "set" of eyebrows that should be there along with a great haircut specially fitting my style to make me feel cleaner and more confidant, ready to face the world again.
