Great Shop When I left Miami I was terrified that I would never find another person that could cut my hair. I have difficult to cut hair. But then I found Agnes and I was saved. She has given me the best haircut of anyone I ever had, ever! The price may be a little higher than the haircut chains, ($20 for a shampoo and cut vs $8.95 for just a cut, etc.) but I think it's well worth it. The haircuts I have been getting have been consistently excellent.
Verbally and Physically Abusive A friend of mine visited this Salon and asked if she should get an all over color. After she was told that her hair was dull and drab and convinced that she should color her hair a bright shade of red, it took them 5 hours to complete the task. Personally, I thought her hair already looked great in the the first place. She got home and then realized that the top was a brighter shade than halfway down to the bottom. Linda Went into Salon 1050 and was warmly greeted by Lora (? spelling). Stylist listened and assessed my needs, then started cutting. Got a great, should-length cut, which fit my cowlicks and styling preferences. Will go back for a cut and color next time. Just needed a while to like the cut before coloring. Price for cut, shampoo and styling was reasonable verses nearby salons. Friendly atmosphere, it seems like a family-type salon. Free coffee while you wait (good for my morning appointment). Cheap Service, Outrageous Price. Go Anywhere else, Anywhere!! When my mom and I walked into the Parlor Salon, the people there seemed friendly and reasonably good at what they did. What followed was the worst color job of my life, for $180 dollars, no joke, just for hair color, not even a cut! We booked an appointment with an older lady with short brown hair. Long term realtionship keeps me coming back. I thought I'd find a new salon when I moved to the mountains, but I keep managing to get to Marietta every five weeks for another cut from Agnes. Agnes has been cutting my hair for years, and that long term relationship is what keeps me coming back. My haircut is $20, and Agnes, better than anyone, knows how to navigate my cowlicks to do a haircut that suits my lifestyle. It's a good little salon convenient to where I used to live but good enough to bring me in from Ellijay.
Great cut at a good price I get a great cut at the Parlor. It is reasonably priced compared to what most of my friends pay at other salons. It isn't difficult to get an appointment either. Also, it is next to a Publix. So, you can combine errands!
