I have been seeing Kim Alcala at Salon 105 for over 12 years, and I am a fan for life. She has given my slightly-wavy hair, long, beautifully layered cuts, shags, spiky Joan Jetts (with “aggressive texturing”); and she’s skillfully colored and brightened my otherwise drab grays (plus, she’s not judgmental when I do it myself!).
