My family is emotinally devastated. we brought our 5 month old beautiful husky named ghost here for a simple spay surgey. I paid 750 dollars for her as a Christmas present for my little girl. It was our first dog. They called me and told me she had died. And all I was told is that her heart stopped and could not be brought back with cpr. We had brought her here for her physical and bloodowrk before the surgery and were told she was in perfect health. Now me and and my 4 year old daughter have to go pick up her ashes.
VERY UPSET WITH Salem Animal Hospital. I have lost two of my best friends. both had rabi shots from this place and both lost they mobility in their rear legs from 3 1/2 months - 4 month time frame from getting the shot. one was only 5 years old and the other one older but got blood work from another Animal Hospital who was much caring and told us this cat was in perfect condition. blood work came out fine, had strong lungs and heart. When contacting The Salem hospital very cold and rude.
