A friend took their healthy puppy here to be neutered. The vet used an anesthetic that can be lethal to boxers, especially European boxers, which he was. The owner called the vet later on to tell her the dog had been vomiting a lot since the surgery. The vet said that is a normal reaction. The dog passed away the next day. The vet here is not taking any responsibility and blaming the breeder or an undetected heart condition which she has no knowledge of. I do NOT recommend this place
RecommendedExcellent place, really cares for the animals and goes above and beyond to ensure their care. Veterinarian, Bri Beaudet took our little hamster William in for a visit right away. He was treated immediately with the best of care. Bri was thoughtful enough to make a follow up appointment for our hamster. Definitely recommend and will come back!

doctors really care about your aminal as if they were there own. they make medical recommendations according to healing your precious one and not how much money can they make. careing doctors and nurses all around!
Dr Provencher is soft-spoken and knowledgable. She keeps my kitty Venetia calm and relaxed even when treatment is necessary.
Better communication between customer and vet.
Clean, organized and Professional. The entire staff are animal lovers and always take great care of pets and parents!
Salem Animal Hospital has taken such great care of my 2 dogs. Fred has Addison’s disease and Dr Beaudet has taken much time to regulate his medicine which will be for his lifetime. We are very grateful ❤️🐾🐾
We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Provencher and the Staff for their kindness, caring and compassion that was shown to us during our difficult time. Belle was a special cat and we will always miss her and the love that she gave us. Thank you all.
