To start Dr. Salama is incredibly arrogant and quickly dismisses the views of other much more prestiges doctors in his field. Unless you are scheduling an expensive procedure, he acts like you are waisting his time. My previous pain management doctor retired and Salama was close to my home so I scheduled with him. 1 visit was enough. This man should not be practicing medicine. The office looks nice though. Like a spa. With lots of products for patients to purchase. Exactly what you want to see in a doctor's office.

I have multiple areas of moderate to intense pain. I have been seeing Dr. Salama for a few years now. I was formerly a patient of a MUCH larger organization which made it difficult for scheduling visits and their approach to pain management rarely included needed medications. Dr. Salama is relatively easy to schedule with and he offers several approaches (comprehensive) to my pain(s). I Highly recommend him for pain management

Dr very rude attitude, thinks I'm lying all the time(I am NOT). Not at all helpful. Doesn't listen. Has NO RESPECT for patients. Questioned education of another doctor I see. I told him to call the doctor if he had questions about other doctor. It nothing to do with MY treatment. HATE THIS DOCTOR!!

I be had a drug test(routine) and at the next appointment he was asking all kinds of questions about what drugs I had been taking. It was very odd. At the end he tells me that my drug test showed minute amounts of a drug I had never even heard of. I have NEVER taken anything that was not prescribed He was very accusative and made me feel like a criminal. I was not impressed.

Horrible Doctor. My wife has medical issues a mile long and had just be released from a nursing home rehabbing. From the 1st appointment he didn't want to continue the pain meds she had been prescribed for years. He made her feel like an addict. 6 months into this horrible experience with frequent drug tests(which was fine) 1 day he calls and says my wife had cocaine in her system. My wife tells him there must be a mistake I dont take anything other than what I'm prescribed. She told him she would take a test on the spot! He... read more

Dr. Salama was very understanding of my neck and back pain as well as my wishes to not take prescription medications. He ordered MRIs and then reviewed them with me very thoroughly. He makes recommendations along with pros and cons. He takes time to explain your condition. His office hours are o.m as the last patient taken is at 3:30 p.m. ( May be an inconvenience with work schedule), however, once there the wait time is reasonable. He was highly recommended.

After reading the reviews, I was apprehensive. But he came highly recommended by my family physician. My experience with Dr Salama was nothing like the negative reviews I read. He was very personable, he took time in evaluating my problem, he explained the situation & answered all of my questions. He even fit me in for the shot that day upon my request. He explained he was busy & I would have to wait. But his staff fit me in & it didn’t take that long. Don’t be deterred by the negative reviews.
