Best Thai in Town! The very best Thai in LA. Wonderful!The flavors are unique and always perfect.The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.The specials are outstanding and all food is served like a work of art.There is pride here in the kitchen and out on the floor. People are proud of this world class Thai restaurant.I go here often and never have had a bad experience.
Malasian Thai I'm not from Pasadena, but I work there often. Recently I met up with a friend who is a vegetarian, while staying in Pasadena. Saladang Song was recommended heavily by people at work - and by Insider Pages network friends.
Foul Thai food I have found many mixed reviews of this restaurant online (on various sites), so my partner and I decided to see for ourselves. Simply put, our meals were shockingly unsatisfactory, in taste, quality, presentation, and price. Following the greasy, clumpy unhealthy and heavy meal, I felt disgusting and dirty inside, as though I had gained 10 pounds without enjoying the experience. Got to love it My co-workers and I go to this restaurant very often. Food is absolutely great and service too. Parking is very easy and very accessible. Got to love this place. Yum Yum
Good place for Thai I decided to check this place out after reading all the reviews on this place and it turned out to be a good dining experience. The high ceilings and decor give this place a good mood and their dishes are really tasty. It's not your usual Thai cuisine. It has it's own little edge to it which is different and refreshing.
pretty good I must say I like Saladang more than Saladang Song. Although Song seems to be a bit more authentic, I simply like the food in Saladang more. Some of the dishes in here were just hit and miss. We ordered the coconut shrimp, which came with simply too much coconut!! We had to peel the layers of crisp coconut off to get to the shrimp. At the end, we had a large pile of coconut left on the plate. The other dishes were good. Ambience here is great.
Awsome, unique Thai food Excellent, excellent food! Romantic atmosphere - great place to take a date. I especially like the spicy poo-goong tom ga-ti (crab, shrimp, ginger, onion and chili in coconut milk). Not like the average Thai restaurant - innovative & modern. Delicious!
