About this business

Editorial fromThis is the spin-off and next-door neighbor of Pasadena favorite Saladang (song means two) which offers a more interesting menu than the first. Like the original restaurant, the design has a bit of an industrial feel, with exposed ducts…

pretty good I must say I like Saladang more than Saladang Song. Although Song seems to be a bit more authentic, I simply like the food in Saladang more. Some of the dishes in here were just hit and miss. We ordered the coconut shrimp, which came with simply too much coconut!! We had to peel the layers of crisp coconut off to get to the shrimp. At the end, we had a large pile of coconut left on the plate. The other dishes were good. Ambience here is great.

This is Saladang Song, not Saladang Saladang and Saladang Song are located about 30 feet from one another (same operators). I've only eaten at Song and can't recommend it enough. I love the building and have a hard time deciding whether to sit inside or outside - they're both cool for different reasons. The lunch specials are great and a good value. Dinner is pricier. PROS: Decor, design, service, sauces, chicken skewers CONS: nada.

Very good Thai food, but fairly popular. The service isn't the best when it is overly crowded and the wait is typically long. However, they do offer carry out. When you factor in the very resonable prices, it is definitely worth a try. Yellow curryand sizzling beef are my personal favorites.

Good place for Thai I decided to check this place out after reading all the reviews on this place and it turned out to be a good dining experience. The high ceilings and decor give this place a good mood and their dishes are really tasty. It's not your usual Thai cuisine. It has it's own little edge to it which is different and refreshing. PROS: Good food and reasonsably priced CONS: Get crowded and parking can get hard to find

Foul Thai food I have found many mixed reviews of this restaurant online (on various sites), so my partner and I decided to see for ourselves. Simply put, our meals were shockingly unsatisfactory, in taste, quality, presentation, and price. Following the greasy, clumpy unhealthy and heavy meal, I felt disgusting and dirty inside, as though I had gained 10 pounds without enjoying the experience. Really, we should have eaten a pepperoni pizza; it certainly would have tasted better and cost much less! Please avoid Saladang Song... read more

Excellent Thai/American food, good service, decor, and atmosphere. There is a running dispute on which is better, the Panang or the Red curry, so try both and let us know.
