Reservation was at 8pm waited to be seated but did not get to eat till over an hour later. Lobster tail was hard as rock. Waste of money and most especially time. Not military friendly nor honor Hilton honors members.
Love it the service and atmosphere is amazing. We dine there every year for our anniversary.
We had 6:15pm dinner reservations for tonight. The hostess advised us that she was checking to see if our table was ready. The hostess came back with the manager. The manager rudely advised us that we were dressed inappropriately and basically turned us away without an alternative option. We were unaware of a dress code and were dressed in nice shirts & pants (no jeans or shorts). Apparently because my husband wasn't wearing a collared shirt, it was deemed inappropriate. My wife and I were visiting Virginia Beach for a long weekend getaway and chose Salacia to have dinner on a Saturday evening. Everyone from the receptionist to our waiter and staff made us feel like we were special, and gave us the most pleasurable service. We loved the atmosphere, service, appetizers and the entrees. I would not hesitate to go again and recommend this place. Why didn't I give it a 5 star rating? The desserts were weak. We ordered the brownie banana split and it turned out to a dry brownie, whip cream that tasted like cool whip and sprinkles on it. It was something that belongs on the menu of a Dairy Queen, not a restaurant of this caliber.
