Great Sushi, a must visit. – The sushi is the freshest in town. The staff is friendly and considerate. They never fail to greet us by name and there is always a special dessert that we recieve, on the house of course. Some earlier reviewers had comments about the waitress being hard to understand. Well for me, I don't quite trust a Japanese restaurant that does not have Japanese cooks and wait staff. That is kind of like going to a Mexican restaurant and having your food cooked and served by Italians. Also, if you are not in... read more

Where's the fish? – I was disappointed in the sushi. There was barely any fish in what we received. Some bites had no fish in them whatsoever. Very disappointing. The godzilla roll was decent. It was very spicy and I couldn't even get a refill of my water. Miyako in Brentwood is ten times better. On another note, I could barely inderstand the waitress. Since the sushi menu doesn't tell you what's in the rolls, I had to ask the waitress. I kept hearing her say 'simp'. Finally, I asked what simp was thinking it might be some k... read more

alaskan roll (where's the fish?) – I decided to check this place out because it was close to work. From the second I walked in I felt like I was bothering them, they were too busy to help me? All of the sushi cooks were short and acted like any question was a stupid one. In short, the other poster got it right ?SLOW to serve - QUICK to disappoint!? I will not go back! Go to Ken?s in Nashville?. Way better, worth the drive.

Good, but not great – The sushi is pretty original and they have a lot of choices, sake selection is slim and the price is high for cold sake, the wait staff is slow most of the time, don't try the unagi - it's really not that good. Overall it is good, try the sushi with crunchy and mango...it is pretty tasty!

Love it! – Sake is definitely one of the best sushi places in Nashville/Franklin. Sushi is incredibly fresh and delicious every time. Highly recommend the salmon rolls and the michael crunchy roll. Spicy tuna roll is also the best in middle tennessee. I eat here usually about 3 times a week, but stick to take out. Atmosphere is not my favorite, but who cares-the food is amazing.

Enjoyed food (veg sushi rolls), great house dressing, decent service, less than cozy atmosphere – After reading these reviews, I still went to Sake, and enjoyed my visit. Granted, I get vegetable sushi rolls, so I cannot defend the amount of fish in the other rolls. We were in and out within 30 minutes (lunch hour), friendly service, fairly priced. The atmosphere is very small, boxy, and uninteresting. However, I will go back.

Seriously fresh sushi shines in a Cool Springs strip mall. – In Short The blond wood-trimmed interior feels uncommonly bright and serene against a bustling backdrop of Cool Springs shopping traffic. Sushi-savvy diners bypass the area's ubiquitous chain restaurants to come here for a tranquil meal. There's nothing fishy about the fresh, beautifully presented, classic Japanese menu. The vegetable and shrimp tempura is good for sharing. Japanese comfort foods, from udon noodle soups to salty-sweet, stir-fried yaki soba noodles ... read more

Good food, crappy service – I love their food and I have to disagree with everyone else. They served our food very fast, however, the staff isnt very friendly. I would recommend though, the prices are good and so is the sushi!
