Always great bed side manner by all, starting at the entrance, even if it’s a greeting with a smile!

Saint peters is charging me about 10k for an er visit. the claim i have indicates they are charging an er code 3 times, medication codes 5 times and laboratory code 10 times. i went in for chest pain, was there for approx 5 hours and was given 1dose of medication for pain. i had surgery done for less than that at a different hospital. so no. would not recommend saint peters unless youd like to be robbed.

While no one would ever claim to enjoy being hospitalized, St. Peter’s made it as easy as it possibly could for me. Every staff member I saw was considerate and kind, and went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible. I’m extremely grateful to them, and while I hope I don’t need to go back there any time soon, I’m reassured knowing I have such an amazing hospital so close by that I can rely on.

St. Peter’s University Hospital Doctor Offices has Good doctors, but the office staff can use some new people. They hardly ever answer phones, they need better organization and better attitudes. I have worked in doctors offices and that’s no way to run things.

I chose to have my last child (of 6) at St Peter’s because of the amazing care from SOGA and them only working out of St. Peter’s. I had lost a child (stillbirth) in March of 2018 so I was anxious most of my pregnancy but mindful of everything and following all the doctors instructions. The 40 minute drive in labor seemed worth it because of SOGAs level of care. In January, I had an insurance switch and SOGA did not take the insurance so I had to choose another practice and not to stir things up too much one that worked with... read more

If you are planning a more holistic approach to raising your baby, do not have them here. They took my son from my room and vaccinated for hep b while I recovered from an emergency c section even though they had signed decline forms and wrote on his discharge paper that they had been given verbal consent— they were NEVER given that. I was also asked several times a day to the point were I was PO’d about circumcision. That was the icing on the cake after a complicated delivery which was truly awful following a night of full l... read more

if you plan on having a baby here...BEWARE!!! I've had 3 children and the last one was born at this hospital. it was the worst labor and delivery experience you could possibly imagine. RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!! My dr cut the umbilical cord after I wrote on the sheet they asked me to fill out that my husband would be cutting it...dr then said oops sorry, you want to clamp it? like it mattered at that point. instead of the immediate skin to skin contact I also wrote down, they took my son and wrapped him up and cleaned him off then... read more

I love the staff here, but do you guys train your nurses to take blood & move the needle around in the patients arm when they cant find a vein or when the blood is coming out too slow? I've had that happen to me when I came & I believe all nurses should KNOW never to do this. I graduated from a trade school for medical assistance and this is common sense to me never to do that to someone & just find a new vein. I went to this hospital on Tuesday & my arm is still hurting because the nurse did that to me, and I was in so much... read more
