I am a cancer patient who has what you call break through pain. It's when my current pain medicine is not helping and I need something different. Recommended19 weeks pregnant today with this being my 1st pregnancy, and couldn’t raise my head up from being so sick. My boyfriend wheeled me into the ER, and they did the COVID screening at the door, and of course given the circumstances, he could not be with me. They took me straight back, and showed so much compassion the entire time I was there. My nurse, Sherry, was an absolute blessing. Friday (4/10) my husband and I made an unexpected visit to the ER. I am 26 weeks pregnant with our FIRST child and woke up experiencing bleeding (not something pregnant women like to see.) Of course, both of us were panicked. We arrived and were greeted at the ER entrance by the lady who was performing coronavirus screenings. She informed my husband that he wasn’t allowed to come in with me, because no visitors were allowed right now. Last week I had surgery to repair an inguinal hernia, and everyone from pre-OP testing, to the surgery department were wonderful and so nice to me. Dr. Sutherland was great, too.
This hospital is a joke. I went in at 2:30 pm & just left at 9. I constantly had to ring for nurses to figure out what was taking my tests & scans so long. Mind you, I waited hours before a nurse ever came into my room. HOSPITAL & STAFF ARE A JOKE.
Got here four hours ago and still waiting! Regretting coming here! Should have went to Clark County Hospital!! Once we got called back we were put into a room sat for an hour never seen anyone. We left went to a real hospital.
Very slow. Does not seem to care
My fiancé is pregnant and was about to pass out. Barely can stand and we have been in the waiting room for over 2 hours!! This has to be the worst hospital I’ve ever been in. Highly recommend people to go to anywhere else but here!!
