The staff, for the most part, was friendly but I would say that there are some cracks in procedure. I was told that my meds were called in to the Walgreen's I frequent and when my wife got there (in the snow) she was informed that nothing was called in....when I called St Francis, I was told that they don't call meds in. There is a serious breakdown in communication between administration, nursing staff and patience. For me, I believe that any future visits will be to Baptist East.

The er staff was amazing but got admitted at shift change and the new nurse Ashley was so rude and hateful, i told her dont come back in my room to get another nurse. She literally bobbed (u know how when girls get mad and do their head when they talk) and took a step toward me and did the same thing to my daughter. Idk where u hired this chick from. The nurse manager came in and i told him the same thing....a few minutes later ashley comes back into my room with my meds and i told her to leave and she is witholding my medic... read more

I had damage to my arm following lab work at RUCH clinic. Five days later, still bruised and hurting, I call the clinic. I contacted my PCP after not hearing back. I was told to go to the Minor Med to make sure there was no damage. The Minor Med was worried I may have a clot. Diagnosed inflammation of vein and sent me directly to ER. St. Francis was closest so I checked in. I was there for over 5 hours. The nurse practitioner ordered a duplex ultrasound, which was negative for clots. My mom was there for 5 nights. She did not get bathed or cleaned. She was not given prompt attention when she called to use the bathroom. Several times she soiled herself waiting for assistance. She sat on the chair waiting to put back in the bed after she was finished sometimes for 15 minutes unable to get up. She had a band on her wrist stating she was a fall risk. Floors were dirty, her bed was not changed in 5 days. Her food remained there after meals sometimes for hours. Her toilet was soiled with feces for 3 days after... read more
