The healthcare is excellent and the staff is the best and most caring
On Friday 4/12 I contacted the VA triage about a groin hernia that was painful enough I could barely walk. Went to St E and after several hours and a CT scan the doctor said "this is not an emergency and your insurance would not cover it anyways." I waited until Monday believing it wasn't that bad and went to the VA that Monday morning. They immediately scheduled the operation for 4/17. St Elizabeth Healthcare diagnosed me wrong again. everytime they give me an incorrect diagnosis. they ignored my rights. i said i did not want any students in the room. the nurse said "she will be a nurse in 3 wks so it doesn't matter what you say or you can just leave" when they asked if I had medicare their eyes lit up like it was Xmas morning. they ran every test possible and still managed to tell me nothing was wrong with me. when I asked for names they said they did not have to give me their names. said they are protect... read more
Friendly and knowledgeable
Tonight at the 12th Street Emergency Room my dad was treated like a king! Dr Greer, Nurse Practitioner Lee, and his nurse Peggy couldn’t have been any nicer! He was treated with the greatest professionalism and expertise. He truly did a number in his ear and arm and we left there with total confidence that when his wounds are healed you will barely know they even happened.
