I got attacked by a dog yesterday and went to the ER. I was left in a room with my arm and leg bleeding profusely. I had to increasingly raise the volume of my voice to get the attention of the staff member walking past, I’m guessing nurse or PA. When told that I had been waiting for a while and was bleeding onto the floor, this person gave me a dirty look and said, “Ugh someone will clean it up. My wife spent 10 days in this hospital, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care she received. During a very stressful and emotional time for our family, every member of the staff treated her with kindness, compassion, and professionalism. The doctors are using AI to take their notes. If you go to this facility for any reason and don't want your personal medical and identification information shared with the data mining tech companies, make sure to tell your providers that you do not approve of any AI use in your care in any way. The ER doctor who was telling me about the AI tech he was using told another staff member in the hallway that he wasn't sure if he was going to keep using it because it made a lot of mistakes. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a hospital, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. They were able to do an MRI on my wife and found a LITERAL BRAIN TUMOR and refused to operate on it, they did not inform us of anything going on, and we were left sitting in the ED downstairs for days before moving us upstairs. I went into labor early and this hospital was closer to my current location than the hospital I was planning to give birth at. I was at my most vulnerable literally giving birth, and I had an audience of 20 people. This is now the most traumatic experience of my life. Not to mention all the staff acted like I was a nuisance, and didn’t tell me anything about the baby’s health.
