When you step into this upscale Thai and Vietnamese restaurant, you'll feel the stress melt away immediately. The classy ambiance includes soft music, muted colors and real cloth tablecloths and napkins. The food is excellent, with choices like Chicken Satay and Hot Basil. Beverages include Thai iced tea and Vietnamese coffee, which is so sweet, it could be considered a dessert. Lunch selections include steamed rice dishes like green curry and pad kapow, with your choice of meat, along with a selection of noodle and vegetabl... read more

Go for lunch! – I often go to Saigon Bangkok for lunch, and have never had the slow service that the other reviewers had at dinner. The lunch menu is a bit more limited, obviously, but the service is much more prompt. The green curry is excellent!
Ok place – I used to come to this place all the time when the first opened, but I recently came for dinner, and I am not sure whether they have new owners or what, but the food was horrible and the service, wow I could not even get a water without flagging down the waitress.
Families, boomers and college kids flock to the fresh, steaming-hot Thai and Vietnamese food. – The Scene People don't flock to Saigon Bangkok because of outstanding architecture or sparkling décor. The cocoon-like interior of pink walls and pink linen is a welcome contrast to the surrounding cinderblock and blacktop outside. Families and aging boomers come in the 6 o'clock wave, university students and yuppies at 8. The Food The name gives Vietnamese and Thai equal billing, but the latter has more menu lines. succulacious – The food we had was so good we cant wait to try the rest of the extensive menu. crab and asparagus soup, a sweet tom kar ga and the vietnamese spring rolls were great. entrees were beef ka pow and breaded shrimp in a red curry with coconut milk. The sauces and the meat was very good but they both had very thickly cut crispy onions and peppers that I'd like softer. It was very busy on a wednesday night, they were severely understaffed but do a good job given 2 people work all 20-25 tables. Given a very large me... read more
OK. Probably the best here but... – ...if this restaurant was in most cities, I probably would not even come here. Their food, it is true, is not greasy like some Chinese food places in area - but really didn't have good flavor either. This restaurant also has the chronic inability of most places in the area to create hot and spicy dishes that are even remotely hot and spicy. Still, the restaurant wasn't particularly bad, and the prices are reasonable when compared to Mango Bob's (which is an overall nightmare) and even some... read more
