I heart Sai! – Amazingly fresh fish! The sushi chefs are all so friendly and willing to answer any questions. Great atmosphere and rolls as big as your fist. My new favorite sushi place is Chicago.
Years of delighted satifaction – Sai Cafe never disappoints. I've brought 100's of friends and clients here and they all say the same thing- Sai has the best sushi ever- even my clients from Tokyo! Whether it is a date night or a business meeting, Sai Cafe always pleases.
The Best...absolutely fantastic – Sai Cafe is the best sushi restaurant in Chicago. The place is unassuming and romantic, the service is excellent and the sushi is the best I've ever had. Not to mention the excellent customer service from the chefs. Twice now the head chef has personally come out of the kitchen and to my table to make sure we were enjoying our food and to recommend dishes. I cannot rave enough how wonderful this place is.
Armitage Avenue storefront draws Lincoln Park sushi lovers for fresh rolls in a casual atmosphere. – In Short Sushi chefs chant behind the bar as they practice their craft, rolling maki and cutting generous slivers of nigiri for the young locals that fill the place. The sushi list includes more than 30 a la carte pieces, plus maki. Rolls include spicy tuna with scallions; the Rainbow, a combo of salmon, yellowtail, tuna and crab, rolled inside out; and the dragon roll with freshwater eel and avocado.
The best Sushi in Lincoln Park – Immediately walking into Sai you are greeted by the entire staff and know that you will be in good hands. The staff is warm and genuine and polite. You can never have a bad experience. No matter what you eat the food is delicious. Try the volcano rolls they are the best! You can't go wrong!
Wonderful – My boyfriend and I ate here on a Saturday night. Make reservations if you want to be seated immediately. We always like to sit at the sushi bar, and that is a really good spot at this restaurant. The chefs continually asked us if we were enjoying our meal, which we did! The food is great, and the atmosphere is laid back. I prefer this setting compared to a place like Mirai. Its all about the food here, not how cool you can pretend to be.
Best Place for sushi – This place has the BEST sushi....a lil hard to find parking but that's why they have valet. Great place for a date!!! OR if you're a sushi LOVER TOPS.
Sai Cafe Rulez – I visited there on my last 2 trip and it was excellent, hope to visit again in next 2 weeks. The Sushi was the best I have ever had, the service was good and the saki was even better!
Sai Cafe...is a 10 – Great Sushi restaurant...sushi is definately sushi quality. I would not hesitate to recommend this play to anyone. The owner is friendly and eager to make suggestions. Be prepared for a great sushi experience.
