Even with a three-tiered dining room, the setting can sometimes be considered more cramped than cozy. But Sai Cafe's popularity is exemplified by the long waits. Don't expect wonders from the hot entrees, the real and obvious draw is the sushi. Sit at the bar, where you can watch the expert chefs carefully prepare the fresh, high-quality fish. The menu offers over 30 a la carte pieces and over 20 hand-crafted maki rolls.

Still the best sushi in town. Been going there for 30 years and every time is a joy. Jim is the best, personal service and remembers us by name every time.

Best sushi in Chicago – Where can I start... This place is clean, has attentive and helpful servers and the food is awsome. I have never had a bad meal at the Sai Cafe. The sushi is always fresh and presented beautifully and this is the reason i come back at least once a week. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try and you will not be disappointed.
One of our favorites – Check it out- they do a great job with their sushi. As well, they say you cannot bring in your own wine, but we always do and just pay a nominal corkage fee. Try to sit in the front area- it's more lively.
