Your Safeway on Grant rd in East Wenatchee Washington has been price gouging laundry soap and lysol and sanitizers as well as toilet paper! It is ridiculous to pay $17.99 for a medium sized jug of tide laundry detergent $7.89 for a can of lysol spray and about the same for the hand sanitizers. You can't allow them to keep doing this! In a time of homelessness, poverty and hunger Safeway is one of the biggest wasters of food in the California region. Not only do they waste they are officious about it. At the Safeway in San Ramon I witnessed a homeless man looking at a large box of discarded sandwiches , the employees came running out and threatened to call the police if he did not leave. the employee sounded hateful. Very sad in these times to witness such petty behavior towards the li less fortunate. Shame on you Safeway!
Was in the South San Francisco Gellert store today and found that after their remodeling, they have cut back on the staff. The few employees on the floor were not helpful and the store manager when asked for the corporate offices gave me a call center number. Calling that number is a wast of time!! They refused to help. I guess I will have to drive to Pleasanton to get help. It appears that the corporate officers hide from the public and don’t want feedback.
Safeway store near me is a necessary evil. Love most of the employees; management sucks. "Guarantee" to open more cashier lanes is frequently ignored. I have photos.
