RecommendedAwesome hometown store ! friendly staff
I went in on Thursday to take advantage of 'golden hours'. The other customers were okay, Safeway staff was working in the aisles without masks, and two workers (one may be from supplier but still a worker) were working across from each other. They barely had distancing apart and effectively blocked the aisle. Other employees were masked and respectful of distancing. I don't think I can go back to Seaside Safeway again.
Not sure hownthisnstore measures up with other Safeway stores but looks like no one has cleaned it in a week, same incompetent people calling the shots and a non existent store manager, makes me wonder why its the only grocery store in town....

RecommendedI want to recognize Glen from produce in the Chester MD store. He was super helpful in assisting me with a balloon order for my daughters party when he discovered there was no one on shift there. He went above and beyond to make sure I was helped.
I got into a confrontation with another customer, because I told them they were going the wrong way, as they walked over a directional arrow. I felt very unsafe in this store. Many customers were walking the wrong direction. Some customers were not wearing a face mask. Both customers and employees were not following social distancing guidelines/rules.
Your shelves are empty! Shame on you for allowing hoarding in our area. It’s sad our food banks have more food than your store for families that are still working! I work all week and only can food shop on weekends. I understand some items are gone but aisle after aisle of empty selves is unacceptable. I saw no signs limiting items. Shane on you!!!
