I've been using a Safe Life belt for a few months now. Just noticed the stitching holding on the velcro is coming apart and the velcro is lose. The rigidity of the belt is gone as well.

The vest is comfortable and doesn't choke me at the neck like my other vest. I hardly know I have it on. I do get a little warm and my t-shirt is wet at the end of the day.
Good vest with good technology that won’t bankrupt you.
This is my first vest so I have nothing to compare it to, but I find this vest to be incredibly comfortable. It conceals well under my work shirt and so far I've only experienced minimal extra sweating. Great customer service. I accidentally ordered the level iiia vest, but a short email and a quick phone call later and my iiia+ was on the way with free shipping. I'm super happy with my purchase, and this company, and I will definitely do business with them again if the need arises.

Over my 20+ years in the private security industry, I’ve worn many forms of body armor. One of the main threats I deal with is from an edged or spiked weapon. Safe Life Defense has introduced to us a bullet proof and slash/spike protection in one vest. When I was shopping for new armor and I came across the video of an ice pick not penetrating this armor, I knew it was the one to buy. we range tested this with frightening results, steer clear, their claims are false. I would not purchase this if you want actual protection.
New belt arrived today. I must say that it is a nice change from the bulky duty belt I’ve been wearing for the past 11 years. The belt itself Velcro’s to the inner belt (provided) and does not shift or move even with a full gear loadout.
