Since your billing has been outsourced, Sacred Heart has become a nightmare to work with. I have provided copies of cancelled checks, doctor office receipts, and yet am still being hounded by SHMG for already paid services dating back to June 2015 and every office visit since then. I've spoken to the billing department, the collection agency lawyer, tried to get in touch with someone besides an operator line, to no avail. If you have a choice, do not go to SHMG.
I was admitted to Sacred Heart twice in the last three weeks.Both stays were frightening for me but the staff members were great! Particularly the staff in Cardiac Care, the last visit. They were so caring & helped to relieve my fears. I am thankful for Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
My husband was transferred to Pensacola from the ER in Destin because a CT of his head showed a bleed and I was told he'd get the 'best care in the area.' It was 19 hours before he was taken for an MRI & 22 hours before we saw a Neurologist, who told us he had a mass. It took 66 hours for the Neuro Surgeon in Pensacola to make time to see my husband. Being 19 years old and never having any type of surgery, Sacred Heart made getting my tonsils taken out very easy and care free. All the nurses were sweet and understanding. They talked me through everything. I couldn't be any happier with the hospital I chose!
I am a type one diabetic and was going to establish my care with Dr. Issa. After one visit I know I will not be returning, not only did it take over an hour for me to even see the Doctor after that he barely could be bothered to find out anything about my diabetes or how I have manged it in the passed. I have been diabetic for almost ten years, I know what to expect when I see an Endo Dr and this was by far the worst treatment I have gotten. Went into the ER for menstruation issues and severe back pain that was not allowing me to work my normal job. They kept me for observation for 8 hours in the ER and then transported me by Ambulance to a Psych ward. Do Not GO to this hospital if you are in pain and in need of medical attention. They assume you are Baker Act and take your rights away. I hate hospitals and will not go near one again.
Dr Kurt Morrison is an awesome and caring professional. This orthopedic surgeon has provided excellent care and treatment for my wife and I. He is supported by a staff of nurses, medical technicians and patient care reps second to none. They all make you feel that your comfort and treatment is all they care about. They are the best!
Your nurses Staci and Heather in the ER, and Tyler and Jessica on the 5th floor were all awesome and attentive professionals. They all made my stay as comfortable as could be and I appreciate their care. Your nurses ROCK!!
