An 8.5 hour wait in the ER on 6/2. Really Providence?!? I understand the volume of patients can fluctuate just like the volume of customers in a business, but to have that long of a wait to see a doctor is ridiculous. Call in some staff early, hold some staff over on OT, bring over some staff from another department, do whatever you need to do to serve your patients in a respectable manner. Waiting room wait was way too long. My 86 yr. old Mom had a broken tail bone and had to sit on it for 4.5 hours.
Loys better than the 7th floor visit for 5 days...that visit about killed me!!!

My brother suffered a catastrophic subachranoid hemorrhage & was lifeflighted to this hospital. Our entire family is overwhelmed by the kindness and professionalism of every staff member we encountered during several shunt surgeries and weeks in ICU, followed by stays on 8S & 8N. Well I went in to surgery so Dr. Davis can put a Fistula in my arm to get ready for dialysis. The surgery was a one day thing. All I have to say is Everyone treated me with kindness & respect. When I went in I was sooo nervous but they calmed my nerves down. I would recommend this place to anyone. GOOD JOB!!!
